Still alive and kickin....

Hello again to all my fellow bloggers! I haven't posted in what seems like forever... Been busy with Spring break, trips to the zoo, and school fundraisers! And now added to my lists of things is home schooling my youngest sister, Shauna.  She's in eighth grade and had some unfortunate things happen to her last week on the bus and with nothing being done by her school, my parents took her out and decided home schooling would be best until the end of this year.  Since I don't have a job at the moment, I am her new teacher :) Both exciting and scary all at the same time... I've often thought about becoming a teacher, maybe Science or Reading. Definitely not Math or History, as in the middle of History today we both almost fell asleep LOL.  I hope with the limited knowledge that I have and the absolute LOVE of Power Point I can teach her what she needs to know.

Been thinking about taking a coupon class to help stretch a dollar that is already stretched to far. Seems like every time it comes around something happens and I cant get there.  As some of you may already know I'm already a bargain shopper to the extreme.  Even get a thrill seeing how much I save at the end LOL  Hoping that I can get to one and then share some of my knowledge on here. Thoughts?  I know this is bouncing around a lot but these are just some random things on my mind.  Guess I will get off here and get ready to hit the sack. Another day of home shooling tomorrow morning!!!

Blessings,

Rebecca

  1. There you are!! I've been missing seeing you blog. It's a great way to blow off steam... and let everyone know what's happening in your life. You are truly a beautiful person, inside and out (not just saying that 'cause I'm yer Mom, either) and I am soooo very proud of you and all you've accomplished with Shauna. I know it's helped her self-esteem and with the knowledge she's gaining, she'll be able to kick butt next year. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. I love you!
